Stupid pot holes
Two nights ago I was driving threw the city when I hit a tiny pot hole. Right way I new that my tire had popped. I was really scared not only did it happen at the way wrong place. But some where that didn't really have a shoulder to pull over on. I also didn't have a spare tire. That is my own fault for never getting a new one after mine was stolen.
I didn't know what to do. I called home and right away I had someone on there way out to get me. But it was like 9:00pm on a Friday night. There was no way that I was getting it fixed that night. After I called home I had remembered how I had just gotten new insurance and I had thought that I heard them say that I had free road side assistants. So I gave them a call. Sure enough I did. I felt so relieved. I knew then that I was going to be ok. They towed me home for free.
When I was waiting for the tow guy I was thinking about what would of happened if I never got new insurance?
When I got my car I had called an Agent that was supposed to find me the cheapest insurance. They found my Allstate.
A few months after that when my car was stolen and I called them to let them know that. They were like "Well there is nothing that we can do" Very rudely to may I add. "
After that when I had been talking to people around only heard bad things about them. I kept saying that I was going to switch but never did.
When I moved I called Allstate to let them know my address had changed. Never once did they tell me that because I moved to a different zip code it was going to be a 15 dollar difference. Still I didn't change.
A couple of weeks ago a light bulb went off in my head that thoughy maybe it would be cheaper if I put mine and my France's insurances under the same policy. So we tried it. By me switching to Progressive I saved my self 65 dollars a month and a whole lot better coverage on my car.
Now I couldn't find my agents number when I wanted to call Allstate and cancel with them so I had to call the 1 800 number. I talked with someone. Who once again was really rude. And she was going to let my insurance agent know that I wanted to talk to them. Ok good I thought. But then she had to have my license number for some verification. SO I gave it to her. She was like "Mam this does not match" Right away I new why. Not that long ago we got new drivers license numbers. It didn't matter to them though. So I asked well how was I going to get a hold of her. The lady started telling me something but I didn't stay on the line long enough to hear what she was going to say.
I have always thought that Progressive was more expansive so I had never got a quote from there before. Not only was it cheaper with more coverage. The customer service they give is outstanding. That is very important to me. They really made me feel like they were there to help me

Burrrrr it is so cold out side today. It is cold enough that my pipes froze in my bedroom bathroom. Luckily enough I caught it right away. We were very happy not to repeat what happened last year.

Less is more Honey
A lesson that I am trying to teach my daughter right now. She just got this perfume for Christmas. She loves it because it smells like Cotton Candy.
The thing is that she thinks the more you use the better you smell.
There was one night that I had a friend and her son over visiting us. Next thing you know the kids are fighting and it was because My daughter was spraying this Cotton Candy perfume on him. haha she didn't understand she sees my finance put smelly stuff on all the time. She just never knew that there was a difference between men and women.
So I go out to the living room to see what all the commotion is about. All I can smell is this thick thick Cotton Candy smell in the air. It was so strong I wanted to puke. I am not good with smelly things if there is to much. Right then I try to explain to her that less is more. You don't have to spray a lot to smell good and too much won't smell pretty either.
I laugh thinking about this story. It brings back the days when I used to hear my dad yell at me when I sprayed to much. hehehe I always thought it was just my dad. Just my dad who hated to smelly stuff.

The real Greenlee returns.
Yes I admit it I am a HUGE Soap fan. I can help it. I love all the juicy drama.
Yesterday on All My Children Rebecca Budig came back to playGreenlee after Sabine Singh had been playing this character for the last 8 months. Ever since Greenlee came back to town it was really hard to get used to her character being played buy someone else. And in the back of my mind I always hoped she would come back. But never actually thought it would happen. So yesturday was really really weird. Awesome But weird.
I am sure now that she is back things will really get juicy!!! I can't wait.

I don't understand.
It was a regular old night at the store. I was the manager on duty, and I was pulling 4 drawers to bring up to the office to start counting. Just then while caring all 4 of them I heard the pharmacist call "manager to the Pharmacy." I thought crap what should I do. I had just gotten in trouble the day before for not going directly back to the Pharmacy when they call. I made a judgment call. I set all 4 drawers on the ground directly be hind the register and told the cashier to guard.
I walk back to the Pharmacy quickly to see that she is helping someone. So I wait... Right after the customer left she looked at me and said "we have just been robbed." I said "what!" "We were robbed". thinking in my head about how I had all those drawers on the ground I walked fast up to the front. To already see that there are cops pouring into the door, and the cashier looking at me in fear. I quickly bring the drawers up to the office and put them in the safe.
I went back down stairs. To explain to the cashier what was going on and help the investigators with anything. Luckily the store was about to close so They could do what the needed to do. They had crime scene tape up and they were dusting for finger prints. It was really kinda creepy. I guess that same guy robbed 4 other Pharmacy's that same night. For Oxycontin!!!
I just don't understand. I wake up this morning, to hear to hear about 2 different robberies on the news. One of them was pistil whipped when he couldn't open the safe. How scary is that.
I hate the power that drugs and money have with people and what it can make you do.

Not what I thought it would be.
Sheer Cover, Has anyone tried it? I ordered it back in the beginning of December. NOW finally just got it in the mail yesterday.
So I watched the video (60min.long). I honestly don't think it needed to be that long. Then I decided to get started I did all there steps what you do how you do it ect.
Honestly I am not impressed. It is supposed to be so great for your skin,But yet it made my skin oily. Normally I don't have oily skin either. And It has no eye shadow or eyeliner with it. They make it seem because there is no need. Ha But after you get it home you get this book with many different things. And it is also another heavty charge on top of your 3o dollar monthly charge pluse tax.
I don't know. For some people I guess it might be good for. And for those of them who have enough money to pay monthly for it. Personally I think I will just stick with getting all my cosmetics at CVS. Where I get all the great deals.

What Miss Patti Means...
What Miss Patti Means |
You are confident, self assured, and capable. You are not easily intimidated. You master any and all skills easily. You don't have to work hard for what you want. You make your life out to be exactly how you want it. And you'll knock down anyone who gets in your way! You tend to be pretty tightly wound. It's easy to get you excited... which can be a good or bad thing. You have a lot of enthusiasm, but it fades rather quickly. You don't stick with any one thing for very long. You have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Your biggest problem is making sure you finish the projects you start. You are the total package - suave, sexy, smart, and strong. You have the whole world under your spell, and you can influence almost everyone you know. You don't always resist your urges to crush the weak. Just remember, they don't have as much going for them as you do. You are influential and persuasive. You tend to have a lot of power over people. Generally, you use your powers for good. You excel at solving other people's problems. Occasionally, you do get a little selfish and persuade people to do things that are only in your interest. You are usually the best at everything ... you strive for perfection. You are confident, authoritative, and aggressive. You have the classic "Type A" personality. You are quite passionate and easily tempted. Your impulses sometimes get you into trouble. |
k I was totally just doing this because I was really bored. But reading it a lot of it is true.

This day Last Year
This day last year was my last day at my job.
I had been working there for about 2 1/2 years.
When my life was looking so good and I wasn't doing what I need to do, Some how this job had landed in my lap. And totally changed my life. I made many good friends along the way. And it was very sad for me to go.
But for as much time and effort that I put into my job I was treated really poorly from the new boss. So I decided it was time to leave. Leave for something that was a lot better pay. But something that I could not do with my eyes closed. It has been a challenge for me. This past year there, I am still considered the new one. When I look back I know I made the right choose.
There is one thing I will always miss though from my old job.
All the wonderful customers that loved me.
Before I left on my last day I actually had one of them come in with cake and balloons.
I really can't believe how fast a year can go by.
Since then I have actually got my old job back, part time, one day a week, and a different store.
Now I get all the good deals again..... :)
